CoT event at the Munich Security Conference 2022 – Cybersecurity for a more resilient interconnected world

At the occasion of its fourth anniversary and as part of the Munich Security Conference 2022, the Charter of Trust hosted the virtual executive event ‘Cybersecurity for a more resilient interconnected world’, which took place on the 18th of February.

Today, no one escapes the realization that cybersecurity concerns all of us – be it Log4j, SolarWinds, Kaseya, it affects the whole world. And with this comes another understanding: No one can face this alone.
That’s why the Charter of Trust alliance is so relevant. Together, we push for stronger cybersecurity – since 2018.

In collaboration with Munich Security Conference, the event included:

  • A live chat with Siemens’ CCO Natalia Oropeza on the importance of supply chain security.
  • A panel on “Security by default” with IBM, TÜV SÜD, Infineon Technologies and NXP Semiconductors and further exciting dialogues with Allianz, Atos Digital Security, SGS and The AES Corporation.
  • A discussion on why global companies need global guidelines, with government representatives from European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
  • We also officially announced our expansion by welcoming two new Partners: Bosch and Deutsche Post und DHL.
