On Thursday, 29th October, 16:00-17:00 CET, the Charter of Trust Principle 8 will host its first webinar on the cybersecurity threat landscape and how we collaborate in the Charter of Trust. Join us and discuss with our experts how partners collectively increase cybersecurity resilience.

2020 has been a volatile year in the cybersecurity arena. National and global events coalesced to provide threat actors with opportunities of unprecedented scale. During the COVID-19 crisis, companies witnessed an increasing volume of cyber threats and risks putting companies around the world in jeopardy. More than ever, companies must develop cyber threat information sharing processes to protect not only themselves but industry writ large from increasingly complex cybersecurity attacks. Effectively detecting and responding to those attacks has therefore become a key priority for many businesses.

This session reviews the 2020 threat landscape, examines how the Charter of Trust is sharing threat indicators among its members, through its human to human network and by building a community supported by a leading threat intelligence sharing platform.

The event will kick-off with opening remarks on the role of the Charter of Trust, its multi-sectors global reach and policy impact through Principle 8 ‘Transparency and Response’ by Jonathan Sage, Government and Regulatory Affairs Executive at IBM and Principle 8 Taskforce Lead.

He will be joined by five experts in the field:

Kevin Albano, Associate Partner, IBM Security X-Force Threat Intelligence

Choo Kim-Isgitt, Chief Revenue Officer at TruSTAR,

Karl Alles, Group Security Officer at Atos,

Holger Steinlechner, Senior Security Specialist at Allianz,

And Hans de Jong, Senior System Architect & Fellow at NXP

who will present how the Charter of Trust set up a cross industry sector group and discuss benefits, provenance and challenges of threat intelligence sharing as well as the platform being used as a proof of concept in the first phase.

The audience will then be invited to share their thoughts and questions with our panelists during our Q&A session.

We look forward to welcoming you at the virtual event.

With best wishes,
Charter of Trust
